Read for a Better Life is coming up along with our very first Texas Standard Day! We are excited to promote reading and encourage our students to look forward to their bright futures!

- Pre K - Pink
- Kinder - Red
- 1st Grade - Orange
- 2nd Grade - Yellow
- 3rd Grade - Green
- 4th Grade - Blue/Purple
Parents/guardians, click here to sign up if you would like to read to your child's class!
We would love to invite parents, guardians and other (volunteer approved) family members to read a story aloud during specials on Sept. 16th. This will take place during specials time in library, art and music classrooms. Each homeroom teacher is available for a time slot. Look for the name of your child's teacher next to the time slot in order to ensure you read to the correct class. These slots are first come, first serve. Due to time constraints we can only accommodate one reader per class. You will have about 10 - 15 minutes to read a book. A quick picture book works best. You may bring your own book or use one of our books.
If signing up for a guest reader spot please email rherbert@conroeisd.net with the name of the book you will be reading or let us know you need to borrow a book.
In order for our day of guest readers to run as smoothly as possible, we ask that you stick to the scheduled time next to your child's class.
